We didn’t receive any payment for your bookings for the Symposium.Please make sure your payment is made in the next days. If you intend to pay at the desk notify that we can only accept Swiss currency.

Nevertheless we included the participation card，please note that you should present this Card and proof of your payment at the Symposium desk.

In case of private accommodation you find the address of your host upon the card.

This letter is valid as an official invitation to the Symposium on Conservation Biology and Community Ecology in Berne（Switzerland）August 15th-20th 1994.Please notify that you are responsible for early handling of the immigration formalities by your own.

Dear Dr.　HUANG.WEI-LIAN　：

A presentation number is assigned for your article as aforesaid and you are permitted to present your article in an oral session from a.m.9：45 on August 31st at Conference Room A . The full program of the Congress will be handed out at the Registration Desk at the Kyoto International Conference Hall.

Ten minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion will be allocated for your article. All articles must be presented in English or Japanese. Simultaneous interpretation between these languages will be available.

0nly one projector for 35 mm film （5cm×5cm slide mount）will be available，and the explanation of slides must be written in English. More than 10 slides for one presentation will not be permitted. Slides must be numbered in the order in which they are to be shown；an arrow must be marked on each slide to indicate which end of the slide should be on top when the slide is in the projector and your name must be written on each slide to insure against loss.

In order to aid in an exact and fluent interpretation between English and Japanese，it is requested that you submit an oral manuscript，which will be useful for interpreters to prepare scientific words ahead of time，before the end of July.
